The first HANSA sink fittings. The highlight is a fit-
ting with two star handles and a hand washing brush
that even allows a flow of washing-up liquid to be
activated at the push of a button.

for the kitchen.
Karl Göhring founds the
company as the Preß- und
Stanzwerke GmbH. The
first location is Zuffenhaus-
en near Stuttgart.

Introduction of the innovative
HANSAMAT thermostat (fig-
ure left). Also, HANSA launch-
es a minor sensation in operat-
ing concept terms: the
HANSATASTAMAT pushbut-
ton fitting.

The company takes over the new
factory building in the Möhringen
district of Stuttgart: as M.P.W. GmbH.
This location has remained the com-
pany’s headquarters to this day.
In 1921, it was renamed
HANSA Metallwerke AG.
