The textile production of Lanificio Paoletti
is historically linked to the river Follina, that
names and crosses the homonymous ancient
Venetian village (Follina) where woolen art was
introduced by Cistercian monks in the Middle
Ages. Founded in 1795, Lanificio Paoletti
has been developing and weaving warm
fabrics in pure carded wool for two centuries.
Specialized in the development and full-cycle
production of patterned fabrics for outerwear
in lambswool, shetland and tweed qualities,
the wool mill seasonally composes its own
exclusive range of mélange colors. Starting
from the first stages of processing, the fiber is
converted into fabrics capable of enhancing
the expressive peculiarities of the wools from
the different countries of origin, according to
the specific blends that Lanificio Paoletti has
created in over two centuries of activity.
