Lowering carbon and water consumption
Our carbon dioxide equivalent emissions in 2021 were 146 tons covering scope 1 and 2.
This is a reduction of 16% relative to 2020. In 2021 we improved the buildings of our internal
operations by installing new windows and doors in selected areas and isolating the outer
facade. Furthermore, we changed an oil furnace into a heat pump in our facilities.
In the future, we will be phasing out our natural gas consumption and consequently expect a
10% reduction in scope 1 and 2 in 2022.
We monitor our water consumption due to water being a scarce resource globally. Our
consumption slightly increased in 2021 compared to last year.
