Large windows with beautiful views of the gulf, horizontal
cuts and terraces from which to enjoy a unique panorama,
completely open to the exterior, also transparency and clean
lines in the internal division of the space. These are the
hallmarks of Hotel Bocage designed by the Thai architect
Duangrit Bunnag in the district of Hua Hin, two and a half
hours from Bangkok. The horizontal volumes, sincere
treatment of revived matter in its true essence, and the
small size of the complex compared to the big resorts that
have rapidly colonized the territory, help to give the rooms
a feeling of peace and security. An intimate retreat with only
six exclusive rooms from 42 to 75 square meters, where
essential and refined language reigns and the excellence
of the furnishings, surfaces and details have the task of
transmitting sophisticated luxury yet at the same time a
warm atmosphere.
Interiors and the choice of furnishings were conceived by
designers in cooperation with Boundary, a landmark in
Bangkok for contemporary design and promoter of many
well-known brands Made in Italy. The result is an elegant
atmosphere, made up of clean lines, neutral tones and
precious surfaces, environments in which there are only a
few significant items of furniture.
A transparent lantern, which can be suitably darkened
with the aid of curtains, defines the bathroom environment
within the suite. Purely aesthetic, with large glass surfaces
without profiles to limit the space of well being and to delimit
the shower area. In this context sophisticated antoniolupi
collections are placed, solutions that encounter the identity of
space thanks to the flexibility and interpretation of a concept
developed on the idea of a modern but welcoming retreat.
Bathtubs, sinks, sanitary ware, shower heads, accessories
and complements, help to create a virtuous dialogue with
surfaces and furnishings, in an ongoing reflection, perspective,
depth and overlapping. The result is a bright and ample space
able to respond, both aesthetically and functionally, to the
needs of a cosmopolitan and sophisticated audience.
