Joint systems
Aquatechnik ha studiato una serie di raccordi speciali,
detti di transizione, che permettono di creare collegamenti
fra il sistema safety e altri sistemi.
Speciali giunti consentono l’accoppiamento con i più comu-
ni accessori (valvole, pompe, intercettazioni, generatori
etc..) e con i più tradizionali sistemi di tubazioni metal-
liche. Molte tra queste figure nascono dal know-how di
Aquatechnik, mentre altre sono normalizzate a standard
internazionali. Tutto ciò consente una compatibilità a
360° delle tubazioni Aquatechnik con quanto presente
nel mercato idrotermosanitario.
Elenchiamo di seguito le principali possibilità di giunzione
e le relative caratteristiche.
Giunti filettati
Il primo e più classico sistema di giunzione è la filettatura
maschio e femmina secondo ISO 228.
L’offerta di Aquatechnik per questo genere di connessioni
è tra le più complete presenti sul mercato e si suddivide in
tre diverse tipologie:

filettature disponibili nelle misure da 3⁄4

” a 3”, comple-
tamente realizzate in materiale sintetico (salvo eccezioni)
che insieme al corpo del raccordo, anch’esso realizzato
in materiale polimerico, garantisce la totale assenza di
contatto tra acqua e parti metalliche;
sistema safety-plus, con inserto in lega di ottone:
filettature disponibili nelle misure da 1⁄2” realizzate in una
particolare lega di ottone a basso contenuto di zinco e
piombo. Sono caratterizzate da un disegno speciale che
permette l’accoppiamento con il corpo in PPS durante
la fase di stampaggio, garantendo sicurezza nella tenuta
idraulica e affidabilità nel tempo;
sistema safety-metal:
filettature disponibili nelle misure da 1⁄2” a 11⁄4”.
Le filettature e il corpo del raccordo sono realizzate in
una particolare lega di ottone a basso contenuto di zin-
co e piombo.
La gamma safety-plus è inoltre disponibile nella versione
NPT, secondo gli standard del mercato d’oltreoceano ap-
positamente realizzata per il mercato americano.
Aquatechnik has developed a series of special fittings,
called transition fittings, which allow the creation of con-
nections between the “safety” system and other systems.
Special joints permit coupling with the most common
accessories (valves, pumps, shut-off valves, plant items,
etc.) and with more traditional metal pipeline systems.
Many of these parts have emerged from Aquatechnik's
know-how, while others have been standardised to inter-
national requirements. All this allows 360° compatibility
of Aquatechnik pipelines with products to be found in the
plumbing and heating market.
The main connection & transition options and their fea-
tures is listed below.
Threaded joints
The first and most widely known joint system is the male
and female thread according to ISO 228.
Aquatechnik's selection for this type of connection is
among the most complete on the market and is divided
into three different types:
safety-plus system:
threads available in sizes from 3⁄4

” to 3”, made entirely
of synthetic material (barring exceptions) which to-
gether with the body of the fitting, which is also made
of polymeric material, guarantees no contact between
water and metal parts;
safety-plus system, with brass alloy insert:
threads available in 1⁄2” sizes made from a particular
brass alloy with low zinc and lead content.
They incorporate a special design that allows coupling
to PPS units during the moulding stage, ensuring
hydraulic seal effectiveness and reliability over time;
safety-metal system:
threads available in sizes from 1⁄2” to 11⁄4”.
The threads and the body of the fitting are made from
a particular brass alloy with low zinc and lead content.
The safety-plus range is also available in an NPT version,
observing overseas market standards and made specially
for the American market.
