DIFFERENT AS THEY MIGHT
BE IN STYLE AND FUNCTION,
THESE CASES SHOWCASE THE
VERSATILITY OF MODERN
DESIGN THAT MAKES SPACES
PERSONAL AND BRINGS US
TOGETHER. BECAUSE AT
THE END OF THE DAY, WE
ARE NOT HERE TO CREATE
MODERN PRODUCTS – BUT
TO CONTRIBUTE SOMETHING
MEANINGFUL TO PEOPLE’S
EVERYDAY EXPERIENCES.
f there’s one thing I learned growing up in a design family, it’s that
our spaces serve us best when they tell our stories and facilitate
our interaction. At MENU, we navigate form, function and
materials to make products that simplify and beautify everyday
life – and help people express what matters to them. To create
design that combines aesthetics and function in meaningful ways, we
believe it’s essential to engage diverse, talented creatives like Norm
Architects, Tim Rundle, Danielle Siggerud, Nick Ross and Afteroom, who
bring their individual experiences and visions to our products. Working
within MENU’s parameters of minimalism and simplicity, they create
new concepts that make spaces better for life, work, travel, leisure, and
everything in between.
Of course, to evolve and meet ever-changing demands, design needs
to exist in real-world settings. At MENU, these journeys begin at The
Audo – our new showroom in Nordhavn, that unites co-working and
event facilities, a café, restaurant, retail area, and an exclusive hotel
residence. A space where people can use MENU designs under real-life
conditions. The next step is the one we are thrilled to share with you in this
book: collaborations with leading interior designers and architects who
transform diverse spaces using our products. You’ll find living, working,
and dining environments that add an essential real-life dimension to
the MENU universe. These spaces are varied and international. They are
carefully curated – yet warm and approachable. They range from the
ultra-modern to classic and at times even traditional. There are public
destinations like restaurants and hotels, modern workplaces, and intimate,
private nooks where friends and families can connect and make memories.
