tradition of

creating glass

for mosaic.

Orsoni’s precious gold mosaics

and colored golds are made using

traditional Byzantine techniques.

The gold leaf is laid on a thin -

transparent or colored - glass

piece obtained from the “sbruffo”,

the iconic bubble-shaped glass

handblown in the Furnace.

A protective layer of transparent

or colored molten glass is then

poured on the gold leaf to preserve

its eternal beauty.
