The chair was initially presented at the Cabinetmakers’ Guild Competition in 1940, which took place at the

Museum of Industrial Art in Copenhagen.The sofa has characteristically curved armrests, a buttoned back

and legs made from hardwood. Original sofas upholstered in sheepskin, which was the original cover, have

been sold at auction for around 100,000 Danish kroner (approximately €13,300).
