ality. Starting precisely from the dot, a circular shape as simple as it is powerful,
Ludovica+Roberto Palomba give rise to a surprising heating accessory affording new
explorations of comfort.
Precisely sculpted by CNC machining from a block of partially recycled aluminium,
DOTS. is an electrical heating accessory that adds sophistication and luxury to its
intended surroundings, while remaining a useful support in all seasons.
In the bathroom, it works as a heated towel rail, providing the blissful pleasure of
having a warm towel or bathrobe to wrap up in. Although it is an electrical product,
the low voltage (24 Volts) can also be placed in wet areas such as in a walk-in shower
or above a bathtub.
Similarly, it is an accessory that shows care upon greeting guests in accommo-
dation facilities and spas or in the nautical industry: a warm towel is a small detail
which makes guests feel pampered during their stay.
DOTS. affords remarkable compositional freedom for interior designers who can
insert it as a single point of attraction on the wall or in configurations that include
several elements. From linear to discontinuous solutions, there are endless possibil-
ities of expression in terms of quantity, layout and colours.
Special attention has been paid to technical aspects such as the recessed part
that ensures maximum stability for the wall, the integrated device that keeps the
temperature constant to the touch, the optional on-site switch-on and switch-off
accessory. DOTS. can be connected to the electrical system and is programmable
using home automation, a wireless or wi-fi thermostat.
